  3. Enable students fully grasp the pulse of industry markets, improve the added-value of the industry:

We implement professional training of health industry marketing research and strategy to grasp the overall development of national demands as well as consumer characteristics and trends. The coverage of sports, health and recreation services industry are quite broad. Its derivative, and industry-led association contains substantial benefits. As people pay more and more attention to life quality and the importance of sports and recreation, the booming future development is just round the corner.

  4. To enhance the quality of health service professionals:

Leisure and sports related activities in our country are lack of the ability to operate independently. The recognition of developing an overall sports and health services sector also seem to be insufficient. Besides, part of the traditional sport or recreational therapy services sector also tend to walk on the edge of laws and regulations on medical issues, so that sports and leisure service industry is unable to step on the right track. The insufficiency of guidance and regulations has also impeded the development of sport media and sport consultancy industry.

  5. In accordance with national policy, build up high-quality sports and leisure environment:

Through cultivating high-level management personnel, we expect to improve the overall quality of the professionals of the health industry, and hence to shape a macro-planning system for the industry.

The Committee of Sports of Executive Yuan has drawn policies favorable for the integration of entertainment, culture, education, recreation, leisure, sport, agriculture, forestry, and fishery resources. "The plans of promoting sports and leisure service industries" was made in the hope to build Taiwan as the Kingdom of sports and recreation. The future development of promoting sports and leisure service industries will be reaching the goal that was stated in a national plan ‘Challenge 2008’ - to double the sports population than ever before in 2007. In the long-term, it will help improve the investment environment of sports leisure services sector, encourage the industry to plan international and domestic activities, and provide convenience and easy service products to the citizens. It is hoped to increase 0.5 million sport population in 2008, and gradually reach the life standard that every citizen enjoys sports, thus form a large health related sports, leisure services industry network.
